Meet Patrick Jassar, Consultant Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist

Welcome to my website. I am Mr Patrick Jassar, MBChB, FRCS Ed, FRCS ORL-HNS, Dip Aesthetic Surgery, a UK-trained ENT consultant surgeon specialising in rhinoplasty ("nose job"). I am a founding member of the British Society of Rhinoplasty Surgeons. I am accredited by the Specialist Advisory Committee in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training by the Specialist Training Authority of the Medical Royal Colleges. I also hold a Diploma in Aesthetic Surgery from Queen Mary University London. I am certified through the Surgical Royal Colleges Intercollegiate Surgery Certification Scheme

Experience and professional background

Having carried out more than 1,000 procedures, I am a highly experienced rhinoplasty surgeon and am included on the GMC Specialist Register. I qualified from the University of Liverpool Medical School and have been practising since 1992. I became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 and was appointed as a consultant surgeon after completing my training in the UK and a fellowship in Australia.

My academic work includes serving as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Hull York Medical School and as a member of the Court of Examiners of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I have published work on rhinoplasty surgery and teach and train others in the field.

I am a Fellow of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons and the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe. I also serve on the Council of the British Society of Rhinoplasty Surgeons and regularly participate in national and international rhinoplasty meetings, helping me to remain up to date with developments and techniques in rhinoplasty surgery. I am also a reviewer of rhinoplasty-related work for the Journal of Laryngology and Otology.

I am partially retired from NHS practice, having worked as a consultant ear, nose and throat surgeon and previously served as Clinical Lead for ENT Head and Neck Surgery.

In my free time, I enjoy long dog walks, tennis, skiing, sailing and spending time with my partner and family.
