Preservation rhinoplasty is a modern surgical technique that reshapes the nose while preserving as much of its natural bone, cartilage, and ligament support as possible. Rather than removing the nasal bridge and reconstructing it, the bridge is lowered or refined by modifying the underlying structures, helping to maintain the nose’s natural anatomy. Mr Jassar is one of the earliest adopters of Preservation Rhinoplasty in the UK and has delivered several lectures on this topic.
Potential benefits include:
However, preservation rhinoplasty is not appropriate for every nose. The technique is best suited to carefully selected patients, and conventional (structural) rhinoplasty may provide a better outcome for more complex deformities, significant asymmetry, revision surgery, or when major changes are required. Mr Jassar will recommend the approach most likely to achieve a safe and predictable result based on your anatomy and goals.
This result 3 weeks after a preservation rhinoplasty demonstrates how with this technique a natural result with minimum swelling can be achieved in a short space of time and without any external incisions / scars
